Short description: The Faculty of Science on the K. U. Leuven and its Alumni Association Science@Leuven usually are proud to announce their new initiative: The Science@Leuven Scholarship. The scholarships are pertaining to motivated and talented intercontinental students, interested in taking part in an international master programme on the Faculty of Science on the K. U. Leuven Number Institution(s): Katholieke Universiteit Leuven within Belgium Field of examine: Any International Mater Programme within the Faculty of Science at K. U. Leuven: • Learn of Astronomy and Astrophysics • Learn of Biology • Learn of Molecular and Cellular Biophysics • Master of Chemistry • Master of Geography • Master of Mathematics • Master of Physics • Master of Statistics • Master of Geology Number of Honours: Not specified. Target team: International students Scholarship value/inclusions: How much the scholarship can be up to 8, 000 Euro for one year. The Board of the Science@Leuven Fund will decide precisely how much a scholarship will be. The scholarship will always cover the tuition fee for one year, the insurance and a basic health insurance coverage. Just how much awarded for living expenses may vary. Most master programmes on the Faculty of Science usually are 2-year programmes. A scholarship for that second master year is only awarded to students possessing had outstanding results the primary master year. Eligibility: Applicants must meet and prove the subsequent requirements: • the applicants never have studied or worked in the University of Leuven prior to, • the applicants use a bachelor degree from a foreign university that offers them access to the master programme they're applying for, • the applicants could prove having had excellent study results in their former training, • the applicants show strong motivation that you follow a master programme in the Faculty of Science on the K. U. Leuven • the applicants are willing to act as an ambassador for that programme. Application instructions: Only applications that have been submitted( with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before the 31st of January will be considered for the scholarship.
